Ear wax removal in Harrogate

A full case history is taken followed by a thorough examination of both ears.  Findings are explained and next steps are discussed.  Enough time is allowed to perform microsuction ear wax removal where necessary.

If ear wax is identified and you choose to have it removed there is an additional charge of £45 (for one or both ears).

Your appointment can take place in clinic at no extra charge or in the comfort of your own home for an additional charge of £30.

Your out of hours appointment can take place in clinic or in the comfort of your own home for an additional charge of £90.

A detailed hearing assessment including examination and testing of your outer, middle and inner ear. Your ability to hear speech, particularly in background noise, will also be measured. Findings are presented and discussed before any next steps are agreed. Includes an evaluation of your current hearing aid performance where applicable.

The hearing test fee is fully redeemable against any hearing aid purchase. 

During our Hearing Health Check-Up we visually examine your ears, conduct a hearing screening and service your hearing aids.  This appointment can also be used as a fault-finding exercise suitable for anyone with any make or model of hearing aid (NHS or private).  This service is available to both new and existing patients whether you are experiencing issues or just in need of a check-up.
